Boxercise launches new Ali-inspired course
Boxercise has announced it has acquired rights from California, US-based Muhammad Ali Enterprises to launch a new training course bearing the name of the legendary boxer.
The company's new Muhammad Ali Boxing Trainer course has launched this month to coincide with celebrations marking Muhammad Ali's 70th birthday.
Instructors who successfully complete the training course will be able to use the Muhammad Ali name to promote their classes, personal training sessions or bootcamps.
Boxercise said its course will focus on "unorthodox" boxing methods, including the looping overhand rights; rotational footwork while crossing the feet; and the "Ali shuffle".
Andy Wake, director of Boxercise, said: "Boxercise is recognised as the world leader in boxing-related fitness, with the result being a collaboration between the biggest name in boxing fitness and the biggest name in world boxing."
