Brecon Beacons hosts hospitality ‘speed dating’
The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority (BBNPA) will host a hospitality ‘speed dating’ event on 21 November to help accommodation providers, restaurateurs and publicans develop partnerships with local food producers.
BBNPA event organiser and tourism growth officer, Carol Williams, said: “Many residents and visitors seem to be increasingly concerned about where their food comes from and sometimes it can be challenging for hoteliers, restaurateurs, café owners and publicans to source good quality local Welsh produce. This is the perfect opportunity for local partnerships to be created one handshake at a time for the benefit of the local Welsh food industry.” Details: www.breaconbeacons.org
