BridgeClimb celebrates a decade of climbing
On 1 October, BridgeClimb Sydney celebrated it's 10th birthday with 137 climbers ascending Sydney Harbour bridge each bearing a flag to representing a part of the world that climbers have hailed from over the past decade.
BridgeClimb has guided more than 2.2million climbers from 137 different countries and territories to the summit of Australia's iconic bridge since it first opened on 1 October 1998. "We are delighted to be celebrating BridgeClimb's 10th anniversary and extremely proud to be able to share this unforgettable experience with Australians and visitors from all over the world," said BridgeClimb's founder and chairman, Paul Cave.
"It's been very rewarding to witness the business evolve over the past ten years and I look forward to seeing how we can further develop our experiences and keep giving back to the community in the future." Climbers can experience the view from the bridge at dawn, during the day, at twilight and at night. This year the attraction even launched Wedding Climbs for couples wishing to exchange vows at the summit of the bridge.
