Britain’s 'best value' theme park
An "Out and About in Britain" survey to assess the UK’s "family friendliness", reveals Paultons Park as the ‘best value for money’ theme park in the country.
To gain the title, the Romsey, Hampshire attraction – celebrating its 20th birthday this year – beat off challenges from venues including Legoland, Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park, Alton Park and Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
Paultons managing director, Richard Mancey, said: "We are delighted with the result. With our family supersaver tickets we give a full day out with something for everyone from tiny tots to grandparents to enjoy."
Respondents to the survey named Legoland as winner of the "most family friendly" theme park sector, with Paultons – winners last year – as runner-up.
Commissioned by Mother & Baby magazine and Pampers disposable nappies, the survey questioned 2,000 parents of young children in nine different tv regions on a variety of topics. Details: www.paultonspark.co.uk
