British Fencing launches restructuring process
British Fencing performance director Graham Watts has stepped down from his position as part of a new restructuring of the national governing body.
The organisation's board of directors has agreed to make changes to its structure ahead of the 2012 Games and following UK Sport's funding review. A Performance Management Group will oversee the World Class Performance Programme ahead of the start of the Olympic qualifying period in April.
The programme will benefit from a full-time performance manager, while a financial and a performance review will be undertaken to "determine future needs".
