British Hospitality Association Annual Luncheon to be held at Royal Lancaster Hotel
Bookings are now being taken for the BHA’s Annual Luncheon, which this year will return to the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Tuesday 4 July 2006.
After a subdued event last year, which unfortunately coincided with the London bombings of 7 July 2005, the BHA is pleased to announce a newly revamped Annual Luncheon, with additional features on the day.
At this year’s luncheon the BHA will launch a Hospitality Live! exhibition, an all-day showcase for our patron supplier members’ products and services, and the addition of afternoon tea to the event to allow members to network after the luncheon.
Our guest speaker at this year’s event will be Sir Michael Jay KCMG, a senior civil servant at the Home Office. BHA chief executive Bob Cotton is also expected to address the guests as per previous luncheons.
Bob Cotton will also present the BHA’s Annual Awards at the luncheon, awarded to a number of individuals for services to the hospitality industry. This year’s recipients are Alan Britten CBE, a BHA Associate; Michael Quinn MBE, founder of the Ark Foundation; and Brian Turner CBE, of Brian Turner Mayfair.
Tickets for the day are priced at £88 per person (inc. vat), which includes a champagne reception, wine, and afternoon tea. Tables of ten are priced at £850 (inc. vat).
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, and all members are advised to book as early as possible for what is usually a well-attended event and opportunity to meet and network with other members.
