Bulgari announces US debut with plans for luxury Miami Beach property
Premium hotel brand Bulgari Hotels & Resorts has revealed it is preparing to unveil a new property in Miami Beach, Florida, in 2024.
Bulgari Hotel Miami Beach will be a 100-key beachfront hotel, offering a luxury wellness retreat complete with a large spa and fitness centre and outdoor pool.
The hotel will be housed inside a building originally created by Miami architect Albert Anis in the late 1950s, located in the National Register Architectural District.
The design project will be sensitively curated, like all other Bulgari Hotels, by the Milanese architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.
The update will also see the addition of a three Michelin-star Italian restaurant, to be helmed by chef Niko Romito.
Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin commented on the new announcement: “We’re particularly proud to have secured such an extraordinary location for the new Bulgari Hotel in Miami.
“This will be our first property in the US which is a key market for our brand. We’re convinced that the Bulgari Hotel Miami will represent our irresistible Roman Jeweller Hospitality and a unique ultra-luxury experience in the American upscale hotel market.”
Having grown from a collection of three locations in Milan, London and Bali, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts has recently been enriched by Beijing, Shanghai and Dubai properties.
In addition to the anticipated opening in Miami Beach, four new Bulgari Hotels are due to open between 2021 and 2023 in Paris, Rome, Moscow and Tokyo.
Bulgari has been a part of the LVMH Group since 2011.
