Bulgarian designer unveils innovative concept for diving complex
Mocked up for his project called ‘The Art of Diving,' Bulgarian-based designer Kristian Terziev has designed a new diving centre-cum-public space to showcase diving to the world.
The centre, which would be located in the Bulgarian coastal city of Tsarevo, is space to reflect on the themes of water sports whilst being in close proximity to the ocean.
As a working diving centre, the project allows divers to benefit from high end technology such as easily-accessible scuba suit areas and slimline changing facilities. The design theme constantly relates to marine life, as well as the environment, and Terziev attempts to use natural light throughout.
Designed to be thought-provoking and allow the visitor to be at one with the natural environment in which the building sits, the entire interior is intended to act as a work of art, drawing dive enthusiasts and regular punters alike into its deep white caverns. It is not clear whether Terziev will seek to develop the plans and bring the project to fruition.
