CGF to undertake 'major strategic review'
International leisure consulting group pmplegacy has been appointed to undertake a "major strategic review" of the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF).
The launch of the review process comes after HRH Prince Imran was named CGF president and will provide a framework for the future development of the organisation.
It is also hoped the review will help to ensure that the CGF's activities remain sustainable in the global sporting sector over the next 10 years and beyond.
An extensive stakeholder consultation will form part of the review, which is expected to look at all aspects of the CGF's objectives, governance, management and funding.
HRH Prince Imran said: "This review provides a critical opportunity to re-assess our long-term vision and objectives and ensure our activities remain relevant and sustainable."
Alan Pascoe, chair of Chime Sports Marketing, added: "We look forward to developing an effective, progressive and exciting plan of action through to 2022."
