CLS awarded 10-year contract for snowsports centre

Community Leisure Services (CLS) has taken over the management of the Alpine Snowsports Centre in Aldershot, on behalf of Rushmoor Borough Council.

The 10-year contract began on 1 April.

Clare Kennedy, chief executive of CLS, said: “We are delighted to be embarking on this partnership with the Rushmoor Borough Council.

“The Alpine Snowsports Centre is already demonstrating great potential and we believe that the combination of our national experience and local expertise will deliver not only enhanced facilities but also improved service for the community.”

John Edwards, director of community and environment at Rushmoor Borough Council, said: “The centre is a great local resource and we are really pleased to be entering into this new partnership with CLS.
