CWTB chief reports successful first year
Chris Brown, chief executive of the Cheshire and Warrington Tourism Board (CWTB), has unveiled the organisation’s inaugural annual report.
“There was every good reason for businesses to adopt a ‘wait and see’ approach before getting on board with us, and yet the response from tourism operators, local authorities and private sector stakeholders was magnificent from the start,” he said.
“The foundations for achieving our goals for business growth are firmly in place: we have a tourism vision and strategy to 2015; a new brand for Chester & Cheshire and our membership is continuing to grow – 17 per cent up on last year.” Details: www.cwtb.co.uk
