Maria Miller has replaced Jeremy Hunt as culture secretary following Prime Minister David Cameron's cabinet reshuffle today (4 September).

Maria Miller is to join the Department for Culture, Media and Sport after being unveiled as the new culture secretary. Miller is also minister for women and equalities.
11:50: Owen Paterson has been named as the new secretary of state at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), succeeding Caroline Spelman.

Jeremy Hunt is to leave the Department for Culture, Media and Sport after being appointed to replace Andrew Lansley as health secretary.
The move has been confirmed by the official Number 10 Downing Street Twitter feed, with details of Hunt's replacement as culture secretary yet to be announced.
