Cable Bay Hotel project unveiled for St Kitts
Plans for a US$70m (£40m, e57m) Cable Bay Hotel and Villa development at Frigate Bay in St Kitts, West Indies, have been officially unveiled.
Construction work on the 300-room resort is expected to begin in January 2006 with completion due in March 2007.
Facilities at the 39-acre resort will include 160 villas, a spa, restaurants and an outdoor swimming pool.
The St Kitts government said talks are ongoing with an Italian company over a possible management contract for the site.
