Caffé Nero ahead of competition
Caffé Nero is currently the UK’s fastest growing coffee chain, according to an independent study by researchers Allegra Strategies.
The report reveals that Caffé Nero opened 25 new stores during the last six month-period and increased its market share by 0.8 per cent to 11.6 per cent.
Its closest rivals Starbucks and Costa Coffee only managed figures of 0.2 per cent and0.4 per cent respectively. Caffé Nero recently opened its 200th site – in Cambridge – and reported a 118 per cent increase in first-half pre-tax profits.
