Cardia & Tone in FIA viral campaign
Two animated personal trainers will head the FIA's national Commit to Get Fit campaign to be launched online in June and nationwide in gyms on 1 July.
Cardia and Tone, who live at www.committogetfit.com, will go through their paces in the corner of computer monitors, giving dietary and health advice, demonstrating press-ups, star jumps and training techniques. After being downloaded, the couple can be jettisoned by e-mail to friends and colleagues to electronically spread the Commit to Get Fit creed.
In a campaign backed by the Department of Health and carrying its logo, surfers can chat with the pair to obtain personalised schedules according to time of day, fitness levels, time available and location. Online surveys will be set-up for dual interaction and users will be encouraged to offer their own tips and advice in a bid to create a wholly integrated service.
'The viral marketing campaign will deliver core messages to the consumer with a fun approach and so we expect it to spread quickly across the web, alerting new customers to the campaign and encouraging them to join their local club,' commented Caroline Richings, campaign manager.
