Caring to launch new bistro concept
Richard Caring – the restaurateur who owns Caprice Holdings – has reportedly teamed up with four former directors of Strada, the pizza chain, to launch a new bistro.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the concept, called Côte, will be run by Strada’s founder Chris Benians and former chief executive Andy Bassadone.
The newspaper reported that the first site would be in Wimbledon Village, London, with plans to roll out the idea if it is successful.
Richard Caring, who owns The Ivy and Le Caprice restaurants in London, has recently been been building a stake in Carluccio’s, the Italian restaurant group.
Strada was acquired by Tragus Holdings for £140m in May.
