Hospitality giant Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is to further expand its portfolio in India with the opening of 13 hotels by the end of 2013.

The hotels will be opened across the company’s four brands: Radisson Blue, Park Plaza, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson, and Park Inn by Radisson.

Faridabad, Gandhinagar, Jalandhar, Karjat, Salem, Gurgaon, Bhiwadi and Goa are among the destinations of the new properties.

Last year the company also opened 13 hotels in India, Simon C. Barlow, president, Asia Pacific, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group said: “In 2012, Carlson Rezidor successfully consolidated our leadership position in India, despite the economic challenges in the West and their consequent impact on India’s domestic market.
