Carlson secures four new Chinese deals
Carlson has announced that it has secured four new hotel management agreements in China, which will expand its estate in the country to 25 hotels - including 15 under development.
Among the four hotels is a 300-room Radisson Blu Resort Baoting, which will be Carlson's third site in the Hainan province and is owned by Beijing Chun Guang Investment Group. Part of the Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Park, the resort is scheduled to open in Q3 2013 and will also be located close to the Qixianling National Forest Park.
The Radisson Blue Plaza Hotel Hangzhou Xiaoshan will be a 230-room property owned by Zhejiang Wanxiang Real Estate Company and is due to open in the first quarter of 2015. Park Plaza Ordos is to be built at the Yixing International Commercial and Trade City and is to feature 250 rooms. It is due to open in 2014 and is owned by Ordox Yixing Group.
The fourth property - Park Plaza Shenyang Hunnan - is Carlson's second deal with Shenyang New Times Hotels Company and will offer 362 rooms nd a health and a spa centre. It will open in Q2 2013.
