Catalyst opens third studio this year The expansion of the Catalyst Health and Fitness brand continues in London with the recent launch of the Catalyst health spa and fitness studio in the Victoria Park Plaza Hotel.

Managing director, Jon Denoris, has put a team of mind and body specialists in the studio to offer a modular range of programmes, which clients undertake with a personal trainer.

These include a month-long weight management programme featuring one-to-one spinning, boxing and power-walking sessions, as well as nutritional advice.

The Connect programme aims to create a more positive life balance with yoga, pilates, tai chi and stress relief techniques, while the Total Conditioning programme focuses on increasing energy levels, strength and stamina.

The studio also offers a sauna, steamroom and beauty treatments.

The Victoria Park Plaza studio is the fourth site for Catalyst Health and Fitness and follows the opening of a similar facility at The Princess Grace Hospital in June.

Open to the public as well as hospital patients, the club works closely with the orthopedic and physiotherapy departments, offering pre- and post-operative programmes to help patients prepare for and recover from surgery.

Earlier this year the company opened its second studio in London at the Porchester Centre. Serving the Bayswater, Nottinghill and West London areas, the studio is situated in a loft-style space on the top floor of the centre and offers Catalyst’s signature modules which include weight management, corporate wellness, total conditioning, sports conditioning, massage and dietary advice.
