Center Parcs in line to meet expectations
The board of Holiday Village operator Center Parcs UK has announced it is confident it will deliver end of year results for 2004/5 in line with expectations.
In a trading update, the company – which unveiled plans in December to open a fifth UK site near Woburn in Bedfordshire – said occupancy for the year to 22 April 2005 was 92.4 per cent. Like for like rent per villa per night was up 2.5 per cent on the previous year and spend per sleeper up 3.8 per cent.
Center Parcs also recently announced plans for a £10m expansion of its Sherwood and Elveden Forest sites. Work is expected to begin late this summer.
