Ceredigion leisure centres receive upgrade
Two leisure centres in Ceredigion, Wales, have had their fitness suites upgraded.
The two centres – at Aberaeron and Cardigan – are operated by Ceredigion Actif on behalf of Ceredigion County Council, and the upgrades are part of a rolling refurbishment programme.
Aberaeron and Cardigan received 14 and 22 stations respectively of new Pulse Freedom cardio and Pulse Evolve Strength training equipment.
Twenty-four Pulse group cycling machines are also being installed at the Leisure Centres in Aberaeron, Tregaron and Lampeter.
Darryl Evans of Ceredigion Actif said: “All Ceredigion Leisure Centres are being kitted out with the latest cardiovascular and strength training equipment.
“Ceredigion County Council has a vital role to play in encouraging all citizens to take part in physical activity so that they can live an active and healthy life. It is important that the facilities we provide are fit for purpose and meet current standards.”
The centres will now be offering new sessions and fitness classes following the upgrade.
