Château Élan spa renovation is complete
A US$1.5m (1.17m euro, £976,000) spa renovation has been completed at the Château Élan Winery and Resort in Braselton, Georgia, US, with a view to boosting the venue's appeal to corporate meeting planners and business travellers.
The widescale revamp of the spa included upgrades to the spa's 35 treatment rooms, relaxation areas and customised couples' rooms. The interior design incorporates a palette of blues and greens with glass mosaics and bronzed metals. Design Directions International of Georgia led the renovation project.
Nestled in a lakeside mansion, the 35,000sq ft (3,251sq m) spa's transformation completes a resort-wide programme of refurbishment that cost US$11m (8.6m euro, £7.1m).
Henk Evers, president and CEO of Château Élan, commented: "The comprehensive resort makeover is an investment in the future and part of our vision to serve as a landmark leisure destination and conference centre. We are committed to exceeding our visitors' expectations by offering the highest quality service for all our guests." Details: chateauelan.com
