Cheeky Girls to buy into Dracula's castle
According to the Evening Standard, pop-star twins, The Cheeky Girls are buying a wing of Bran Castle in Transylvania - Dracula's residence, according to legend - to turn it into a hotel and theme park.
They are reportedly spending £250,000 buying the vast wing.
It was recently announced that the Romanian government is planning a $31.5m Dracula theme park north of Bucharest.
It was originally planned to be sited in Sighisoara, where Bram Stoker's novel is set, but fears that heavy tourism would damage the area caused it to be moved.
Although Bran Castle is said to have been the residence of Vlad the Impaler - known as Dracula - it is actually not the castle of Stoker's story.
