Chilworth Manor to open health club
Work is nearing completion on a £3m health and fitness club at the Chilworth Manor Hotel.
According to Gavin Elliot, director and hotel manager, the new site, called theclub@chilworthmanor, will offer a much-needed leisure facility for the local area.
“There is already considerable interest in theclub@chilworthmanor. It will make a significant contribution to our hotel and is set to take our leisure breaks and conference facilities to a new dimension.”
Due to open in early September, the club’s target membership stands at 1,250 and the facilities will be open to children as well as adults.
Owned and operated by the directors of the hotel, the facilities will include a 900sq m gym equipped by Nautilus, an exercise studio and swimming pool. A variety of holistic and beauty treatments will be available in four treatment rooms and users will also benefit from a spa bath, steamroom and sunbeds.
