Chiva Som Spa resort in Thailand will launch its Ultimate Detox Retreat package in January 2005 – to help guests cleanse their body of the festive season’s traditional over-indulgence.

The seven-night package will include an individual health and fitness consultation, choice of daily massages, an herbal detox supplement, thalassotherapy, a skin smoothing salt scrub and three colon hydrotherapy session.

Guests can also choose the length of their monitored cleansing diet – a light fruit, vegetable and juice fast – which can last between three and five days.
