Chocolate Suite opens
The InterContinental Berchtesgaden in the German Bavarian Alps has launched a new spa therapy concept, the Chocolate Spa Suite.
The brainchild of Peter Droessel, spa and recreation director of the hotel, guests using the new facility can choose from treatments including a body peel with dark chocolate flakes and a body coat with hot chocolate sauce.
Nearly all the substances used in the treatment are edible and, as an added extra, guests also receive chocolate specialities from the patisserie, which include home made pralines and cake.
