Chuan Spa now open in Melbourne, Australia
Langham Hotels has launched the new Chuan Spa at the Langham Hotel in Melbourne, Australia.
Designed by Melbourne-based Bate & Webb, the 1,060sq m (11,400sq ft) spa and health club – which is located over two floors of the hotel – features eight treatment rooms, a whirlpool and a 15m indoor salt water pool with floor-to-ceiling fold-back windows.
The spa offers more than 40 treatments supplied by marine-based products company Thalgo and Chuan’s own label products, which are inspired by traditional Chinese medicine.
Treatments vary from Aquatic Angel, which involves a steam exfoliation, vichy shower and warm algae wrap, to Muddy Elements, which uses five signature muds.
The health club includes a cardio suite and movement studio, offering yoga, pilates, tai chi and fitball. Details: www.langhamhotels.com
