A new, nine-screen, Cineworld cinema site has opened on a 122,000sq ft mixed-use development in Cambridge.
The cinema, which seats over 1,700, anchors the 122,000sq ft Cambridge Leisure scheme and has been designed by Cambridge firm CMC.
Steve Wiener of Cine UK said: “We are delighted to be part of Cambridge Leisure and are confident that this scheme will provide a modern facility that is destined to become a popular leisure destination for Cambridge and the surrounding areas.”
Other operators due to open in the development this month include Tenpin Bowling, Frankie & Benny’s and Pizza Hut.
There are a limited number of units still available in the main leisure building, ranging in size from 1,900sq ft to 15,000sq ft.
