City Academy opens in Brighton
A training school called The City Academy in Brighton to provide training courses for recent graduates, qualified beauty professionals and complementary practitioners has opened.
The academy also trains beauty therapists who are returning to work after a career break to update their skills.
The curriculum includes foundation courses in trichology, kinesiology, osteopathy and podiatry for beauty therapists, as well as refresher courses.
All courses can be completed on a full-time, part-time or on a day-release basis and are HABIA accredited for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
The facilities comprise a commercial salon, a podiatry room, an osteopathy room, a body treatment room, a laser clinic, a make-up studio and a library.
The academy uses the Aegyptia product range from Milan.
The school is part of The Shadi Danin Group – owner of the Complementary Health Centre in Brighton and Wickwoods Country Club & Spa in Albourne. Details: www.thecityacademy.co.uk
