Coe announces HOK will prepare 2012 technical briefs
Sebastian Coe has announced that HOK, the international architectural practice, has won the tender process to prepare the technical briefs for the venues for the 2012 Olympic Games.
Speaking at UK Sport’s Major Events conference, Coe said that the team led by HOK – which included experts with many years’ Olympic experience – would be responsible for the creation of the briefs which would form the basis of the design and planning of the venues.
“The London Games will be designed for the athletes and we will provide them with the very best venues and sporting conditions,” he added. Details: www.london2012.com
