In an effort to minimise the impact of interest rate rises and fuel prices and the impact on business owners of the amusement, leisure and recreation industry, the Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA Inc. in partnership with AusIndustry) are conducting a series of business planning and management workshops throughout Australia.

Adelaide: 28th August

Melbourne: 14th October Hobart: 20th October

Albury/Wodonga: 27th October Freemantle/Perth: 1st December

Penrith: 9th December

The workshops will cover topics like understanding your customers really want and offer solution to help businesses weather the rising cost of living.

Participants will learn about business planning and business strategy, controlling costs, human resource management, marketing and safety and risk management. Case studies from the amusement, leisure and recreation industries will be presented.
