Compass redesigns more food outlets at Edinburgh Zoo
Compass Group UK & Ireland's Leisure team - which operates the catering outlets at Edinburgh Zoo - has, in partnership with 442 Design, re-designed three more of the venue's food kiosks.
Compass won the £2.6m per annum contract in April 2011 and the new offerings form part of the second phase of a major programme of investment in catering outlets at the zoo. Included are the Gibbon Gourmet Popcorn Kiosk, the new Big Griller outdoor barbecue space and the Sweetie Shop.
The introduction of the three new outlets - all now in operation - follows the creation of the zoo's award-winning Grasslands Restaurant and Jungle Food Court.
