Competition line invests in Surrey
Competition Line has invested more than £600,000 to double fitness facilities at a dual-use site in Surrey.
The company has been in partnership with Matthew Arnold School in Staines since installing a fitness facility at the site eight years ago.
The latest development has seen the extension of the fitness suite to include around 50 pieces of Life Fitness kit.
As well as this, the company created a new lounge area with projector television screen, designer decor and feature lighting for members to relax after their exercise session. The reception area was redesigned and refurbished, as were the male and female changing rooms.
The development will be paid for via an income-sharing agreement for the duration of the partnership.
Open to the public for use in the evenings and at weekends, the club had around 400 members before the extension. Membership currently stands at 600 with a target of and 800.
Sven Göran Ericsson was among the 400 guests at the official launch of the club, where a cheque for £32,000 was presented to the charity, DEBra. The money came from donations from members of Competition Line clubs, guests on the day, suppliers and Competition Line itself.
