The rowing machine manufacturer, Concept 2 is to be the title sponsor of a new triathlon series that replaces the traditional swim stage with rowing.

The Rowathlon series has been built around the dri-triathlon concept. Several one-off events have taken place successfully, but this is the first time a series has been planned and sanctioned by the British Triathlon Association.

As part of the Rowathlon sponsorship package, Concept 2 will give a new Concept 2 rower to the fastest man and woman over the three dates.
