Contours Express opens first UK studio

International women’s fitness franchise Contours Express has opened its first studio in the UK in Aldridge, Walsall.

Franchisee Sue Arrowsmith has already welcomed more than 100 ladies to the 1,300sq ft (120sq m) facility since its opening at the end of October.

A second site is planned for High Wycombe in early 2006 and Contours Express has recently signed its third franchisee in east London, with an estimated opening date of spring 2006.

The concept was founded in the US by former gym operators Daren Carter and Charlie Woodward who launched the first site in Kentucky in 1998.
