Council seeks developer for Mansfield sites
Mansfield District Council (MDC) has announced that it is inviting potential development partners to come forward with ideas for two town centre sites.
The local authority aims to regenerate the Stockwell Gate North and the old Indoor Market sites and has given parties until 28 April to express an interest in the opportunities. A major retail and leisure development is being eyed for the Stockwell Gate North site and the council has produced Planning Policy Guidance to help influence possible proposals.
MDC portfolio holder for regeneration Kate Allsop said: "I hope that there is a lot of interest in these redevelopment projects as it is a great opportunity for developers and will bring jobs and investment into Mansfield."
