Council to review future of Wyre Forest facilities
Wyre Forest District Council (WFDC) is to undertake a comprehensive review of options for the future management of local sports and leisure facilities.
The council's cabinet approved a recommendation calling for the launch of a 'full strategic options appraisal', which could lead to the transfer of facilities to community trusts. Maintaining the status quo and investment in a new centre are also among options facing WFDC, which also agreed to spend up to £35,000 to investigate sites for a possible new-build venue.
