Councillors to mull Coventry's Olympic legacy
Members of Coventry City Council's (CCC) cabinet is to meet on 21 January to discuss how the city will maximise the benefits of the 2012 Olympic Games.
The council is planning to give local residents the opportunity to comment on designs for the new square for Broadgate, which is due for completion ahead of the event. Plans to be discussed could see £7m invested in upgrading routes into the city centre, with an application for £3.5m of European Union funding already approved in principle.
