Coventry Sports Foundation upgrades facilities
Charitable organisation Coventry Sports Foundation has upgraded its health club facilities at Centre AT7, The Midland Sports Centre and The Alan Higgs Centre.
Each facility comprises more than 50 pieces of equipment as well as freeweights areas and group cycling studios. The sites have been equipped by Pulse.
The Foundation operates a membership scheme which allows users access to all three sites with unlimited use of the gym and swimming pool and free access to more than 90 exercise-to-music classes a week. It also includes a free induction, personal exercise programme and fitness assessment.
“From a membership point of view, customers going from one site to another and being able to use the same kit and the same programme is a huge selling point and a benefit for the user,” said John Hayes, lifestyles manager at Coventry Sports Foundation.
“This is also a benefit for our staff who can switch between centres without fear of having to learn new systems on the equipment.”
The Foundation will also be one of the first sites in the country to house Pulse’s new G strength range, when it receives the equipment in 2005.
