Coventry park secures funding for football fields
By Tom Walker
Coventry City Council has been given a £242,000 grant by the Football Foundation to improve football facilities at the city's Holbrooks Park.
The grant will be used, in addition to other funding, to build a new changing pavilion and a drainage system for the two existing senior and four junior grass pitches.
The improvements will begin early next year and will take eight months to complete.
