The 146-room Crowne Plaza Estepona-Costa del Sol in Spain will open its doors in March 2006.

Facilities at the beachfront hotel include a luxury spa, two restaurants, a chill out pool bar, a private beach club, two outdoor swimming pools and a health and fitness centre.

The spa will have eight treatment rooms and amenities include a sauna, steam bath, aromatherapy showers, a swimming pool and a wellness suite.

The treatment list has yet to be confirmed, but will include a range of massages, aromatherapy, pedicures and manicures.

Operated by the InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG), the hotel also has 170sq m (1,830 sq ft) of meeting space.

IHG owns 3,600 hotels in 100 countries and territories and operates a number of brands, including the Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Hotel Indigo chains. Details: www.intercontinental.com
