Crystal Palace scheme will not go ahead
London and Regional Properties' controversial commercial leisure scheme at Crystal Palace will no longer go ahead. Bromley Council pulled the plug on the scheme as LandR failed to complete the lease by the deadline. In a statement the council said: 'We are extremely disappointed that we have to take this step, which will mean that the leisure amenities and the hundreds of jobs they would have generated will not now be realised.' The council is now considering the long term future of the site.
