Cybex International UK is launching a new cable column. The FT-450 with progressive stabilisation spans the gap between resistance machines, which offer complete stabilisation and the ability to use high loads, and traditional cable machines, which offer non-stabilised movements but limited loads.

The Functional Trainer includes two key design features which enable progressive stabilisation: a progressive stabilisation pad and cable width adjustment. The progressive stabilisation pad facilitates adjustment for height and extension. This allows the user to have as much or as little support as they require.

In addition, the FT-450 allows the user to direct the force, to perfectly tailor the exercise, via the Cable Width Adjustment feature. This is achieved using a unique arm assembly which provides the traditional vertical adjustment as well as effective width adjustment. This facilitates converging and diverging movement patterns, previously only possible on selectorised machines.
