Cybex pens Man Utd deal
Fitness equipment manufacturer Cybex International has secured a deal with Manchester United FC (Man Utd) which will see the club using the new CYBEX Arc Trainer.
The equipment will be used to enhance the performance of the players - as well as speed up the rehabilitation of injured members of the squad.
According to a spokesperson, Manchester United selected the Arc Trainer due to its biomechanics that allow for high-intensity training that places significant loads on the muscles while creating less stress on the joints.
Rob Swire, the club's head physiotherapist, said: "We've found the Arc Trainer an increasingly useful piece of equipment in our gym and CYBEX was very professional to work with.
"The Arc is easy to use with a wide selection of resistance choices and it allows accurate progressions of workload that are ideal for injury rehabilitation."
