DC Leisure has entered into an 18-month sole supplier agreement with The Nautilus Health & Fitness Group to provide strength and variable resistance equipment and Schwinn studio bikes.

The company – now operating over 100 leisure facilities throughout the UK – is launching three new leisure contracts over the next two months, which will be the first within the group to receive the new Nautilus equipment.

The new contracts are in Norfolk, Kidderminster and Farnborough, the latter being a £2.5m refurbishment which will see the provision of a ten-pin bowling centre, new changing facilities, new solarium and therapy rooms, an extended kinetika gym and new aerobics and indoor cycling studios branded ‘Cyclone’.

To introduce members to resistance training, DC Leisure has chosen the Nautilus Nitro and Nautilus XPLoad ranges, along with Nautilus free weights.

The company has developed a range of 4-week programmes, aimed specifically at different market sectors. These include Hard Bodies, designed to educate and motivate female customers in the use of strength training equipment and techniques, and Beef Fit, which offers the same benefits to male customers.
