Deloitte opts to buy-out GuestInvest investors
GuestInvest's administrator Deloitte has reportedly made an offer to buy out individual investors of the London buy-to-let hotel operator so it can push forward with the sale of uncompleted properties.
According to The Timesnewspaper, Deloitte recently sold a property in Leinster Square, Notting Hill, to GuestInvest founder Johnny Sandelson. The administrator is also understood to be close to agreeing the sale of the boutique Blakes hotel in Kensington. It is understood that the sale of three yet-to-be-completed properties have been put on hold after bids were deemed too low.
The three properties include 157-room hotel The Nest in Bayswater, which was close to completing a £45m revamp when the firm collapsed; The Jones, a £70m development in Bayswater; and The Brewery, which needs a further 12 months of work before it is completed in Chiswell Street.
