Derwent Manor opens Fitness Express facility
A new Fitness Express health club has opened in Derwent Manor, Northumberland.
Part of the Best Western Group, Derwent Manor recently underwent a major refurbishment in which its restaurant, bar and reception were redeveloped while two new suites, a business centre and a boardroom were added.
The new health club is open to guests and around 300 local members and consists of an indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym.
Fitness Express was recently bought back from Crown Sports by its original founders, Dave Courteen and Steve Taylor for £1.15m – just three years after selling the company for £3.4m.
The pair plan to expand the company through contract management. Details: www.fitnessexpress-partners.co.uk
