The newly opened 57-bedroom Nakar hotel in Mallorca is designed as an authentic yet innovative Balearic guesthouse, and features a subterranean spa.

The spa includes an indoor pool, steam bath, sauna and two treatment rooms. Treatments use Comfort Zone products, and include the Aromasoul Mediterranea and Algae Facial.

Owned by Toni Ramis, Nakar is a boutique lifestyle hotel designed by architect Magi Margues and designer Marga Rotger. It uses locally sourced oak and stone, which contrasts with industrial tones of black-lacquered iron and glass in the public spaces. Rooms use earth-tone fabrics and a neutral color palette.

The hotel also includes a rooftop sundeck and infinity pool with panoramic views of the old town.
