Designed by Queensland architect Chris Beckingham, the development is owned by billionaire wine exporter Bob Oatley, and his family.
Guests will arrive at nearby Port Cochere and enter Spa Qualia via a walkway lined with reflecting pools.
The facility has six rooms, including two double treatment areas with sunken Roman-style baths and outdoor showers.
