Diegeo invests in toptable
Diegeo, the premium drinks business and owner of such brands as Baileys and Guinness, has joined Sir Alex Ferguson and the chef Gary Rhodes, to invest in toptable.co.uk, an online restaurant booking service.
The company has taken a major equity stake in toptable.co.uk, which was founded three years ago by businesswoman Karen Hanton and is now the market leader making bookings at more than 1,100 to restaurants in London, Paris and 30 cities in the UK. In the past year toptable.co.uk has brought more than £10m of extra business to the UK dining industry. Details: www.toptable.co.uk
